Kucheza Ngoma

Scotland and Tanzania come together as perfect partners on the dance floor whilst Ashley and Upendo enjoy a 'dashing white sergeant' at a YF ceilidh.
2006 will provide many further exciting opportunities for Scotland and Tanzania to partner together in the work of MCCC. This new year will see the completion of the Bible School and Maranatha House and the continued development of the work in Uchira and the various community projects. Please pray that the Lord of the harvest will provide new workers to assist in the growing work and especially for one couple considering the possibility of joining us after the summer. Wishing you all every blessing for 2006 and thanking you again for your sacrificial committment to us and MCCC.

Christmas day in Moshi

We would like to thank all our supporters for their gifts and prayers throughout 2005. We really could not do this work without you and we thank the Lord continually for your partnership with us in the gospel. We covet your prayers for 2006 and ask the Lord to bless you and yours with his wonderful presence in the coming new year.

Upendo in Scotland!

Upendo chat's on the phone to her friends from Emmanual House in Moshi. She has really enjoyed her stay in Scotland so far and has spent time already with Andy & May, Ian & Jean, Jim & Sheila, Marj Tulloch in London and Adi & Ruth. On 1st. January she travels to Aviemore to spend 3 months at the Abernethy Outdoor Centre which will give her an excellent opportunity to serve the Lord and help her improve her English. Pray that she is kept safe, finds good fellowship and friendship and grows in the Lord. Give thanks for her acceptance on the teacher training course at Tabora and for the deferment of her place until January 2007. She has also discovered, on a recent visit to Pollok Estate, that the cows in Scotland are no match for those in Tanzania!

Don't forget the children!

In the midst of all the bizz with the construction of the bible school and Maranatha House, it's easy to forget all the kids at MCCC and the constant love and attention they require. Here is a lovely photo of Zawadi, Esther and Anna at Marangu waterfall near Kilimanjaro. Please remember all the children in your prayers this Christmas that they may know the special love Immanuel has for each one of them. Please also remember to pray for Upendo as she enjoys her trip to the UK and will soon be heading up to the Abernethy Outdoor Centre for 3 months from January. Your valued support is making children count for Christ. Ben too is home in Glasgow for Christmas. Remember Allan and Jacqui as they spend Christmas away from family and friends.

Maranatha House Progress

Praise God as Maranatha House nears completion and a new home for Kasi and the older boys moves into the final stage of construction.

Bible School Progress

Completion of the Bible School is not so far away now and with the Lord's help construction will be finished in February next year.

Started Christmas shopping yet?

What about including one of the children from the Centre on your christmas list this year? Or perhaps some of the needy children and family's from the community programme?
We spend such a lot of money at this time of year on entertainment, luxuries, toys and things, that will eventually find themselves in the next Blue Peter bring and buy or car boot sale.
Knowing how special it is to be remembered at this time of year, don't forget those in Moshi with no family or home of their own.
This Christmas, why don't you think about giving a special gift that will last long after the food and festivities fade away. Give something that will change, sustain and improve the lives of the children at MCCC.
Your gift of a donation to MCCC does more than provide education, care, food and clothing. It is a gift of encouragement, support and love.

The gospel is a message of hope and reconciliation.
We are called to love just as Christ loved us.
He gave all He had.
And Christ's love COMPELS us (2Cor. 5v14)
Let us follow the example of Cornelious who "gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly" Acts 10v2.
